Needless to say, smoking is very injurious to your health, it not only affects us physically but as per a recent study conducted on 20,000 smokers, and people who smoked between a half and one pack daily were 44% more prone to developing dementia in the later stages of life.
On the other hand, people who smoked but quit had no significant changes and showed no increased risk of dementia.
This perhaps gave you a reason as to why you should stop smoking. But, as easy as it might seem, quitting smoking is not an easy task.
