2. What Is SSC CHSL Exam?
SSC CHSL is an annual national-level exam conducted for recruitment to clerical and data entry posts in various Central Government ministries and departments. It targets candidates with 12th pass or equivalent qualification.
3. SSC CHSL 2025 Posts & Vacancies
A total of 3,131 tentative vacancies are announced for various posts:
- Lower Division Clerk (LDC)
- Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA)
- Postal Assistant (PA)
- Sorting Assistant (SA)
- Data Entry Operator (DEO), including DEO Grade A
Final post-wise and category-wise vacancy details will be declared by SSC after results.
4. SSC CHSL Eligibility Criteria
Nationality:
- Citizen of India, or
- Subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or
- Tibetan refugee (settled in India before 1962), or
- Person of Indian origin from specified countries.
Age Limit:
- 18 to 27 years (relaxations applicable as per government rules).
Educational Qualification:
- Passed Class 12 or equivalent from a recognized board/university.
- Candidates appearing in Class 12 exams in 2025 are eligible.
5. SSC CHSL 2025 Application Process & Correction
How to Apply Online:
- Visit ssc.gov.in
- Complete One-Time Registration (OTR).
- Fill SSC CHSL application form.
- Upload scanned photograph and signature.
- Pay application fee.
- Submit and save confirmation page.
Application Correction Window:
- Dates: July 25–26, 2025
- Correction steps:
- Log in to SSC portal
- Go to ‘My Applications’ and select ‘Re-Apply’ for CHSL exam
- Make corrections and pay correction fee
- Save confirmation
Correction Charges:
