Everything You Need to Know About Preparing for the TNTET Exam
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TNTET), candidates must have a minimum educational qualification of a bachelor’s degree in education or a related field from a recognized university. Additionally, candidates must adhere to the age limit set by the Tamil Nadu Government.
Exam Syllabus
The TNTET exam is divided into two papers – Paper I and Paper II. Paper I focuses on topics related to Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I, Language II, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies. Paper II covers topics on Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I, Language II, and Mathematics/Science/Social Science.
Exam Pattern
Paper I: Consists of 150 multiple-choice questions, each carrying one mark. Candidates are required to complete the exam within 3 hours.
Paper II: Also comprises 150 multiple-choice questions, to be completed within 3 hours.
